Role Accountabilities
Implementation of Project management procedures and principles Preparation of cost control reports and forecasts for projects Evaluation and selection of suppliers and contractors Inspection and expediting of equipment for projects Implementation of QA procedures Development, in association with Project Manager, of specifications for purchased items. Generation of supportive documentation for progress claims Preparation and dissemination of project work schedules Preparation of monthly reports to clients Review and allocation of vendor’s invoices Preparation of purchase orders Preparation and distribution of MDR’s Preparation of Operating and Maintenance Manuals Interact with client and suppliers to ensure correct information is made available on time throughout the project execution.
Knowledge & Skills Required
Technical Knowledge Essential Good written and communication skills Technical reporting ability Autocad competency MS Word, Excel, Project
Preferred Lotus Notes Project accounting package
Qualifications Degree in Mechanical engineering, or equivalent Minimum of 5 years engineering / project experience
