Details :
Senior Merchandise Manager (Spanish or master in Spanish language is preferabe) who understands customer product requirements. Knowledge of china sourcing is preferable but that person will act as interface with customers and will work closely with the local merchandisers.
- Work on the front end of the Spanish business in Shanghai I.e
Communicate on a daily basis with team and with the spanish customers.
 Make product selections for buyers' visists and for offers to customers. Assist buyers during their visit and travel from time to time to Spain.
 Ensure that initial prototypes ( from sketches received from customers or from LF collection samples) are as close as possible to buyers requirements- fabrics/ workmanship/handfeel.
 Act as interface between the spanish and the merchandising team in Shanghai even if some communicationcan be direct.
 Grow the Shanghai spanish business according to objectives to be defined together.
 - Act as a customer coordinator for Zara mens, Corterfiel,  Induyco and Madrid customers in general.
 This role covers production outside China and implies regular communication with the sourcing teams in the sourcing countries and if required visiting them especially when buyers are aroiund..
 The global coordinator is the first point of contact of the customers and with business building up will be encouraged to set up dedicated sourcing teams in the large sourcoing markets.
